DEAR ANONYMOUS

DEAR ANONYMOUS
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

*Some little time ago a personal letter conveying a powerful message was written to me.
The letter was simply signed,
-Anonymous
*This is my attempt to communicate and convey care to the Anonymous one.

Dear Anonymous,
In the wee hours of morning I awoke in prayer for you with a sense that contact was to be made with you.
You spoke to “commonalities and experiences” that we shared and worked to identify with me, yet left no route with which to communicate with you:
No forwarding address or suggestion of identity.
Your bravery and courage were apparent and realized but a great fear had threatened to swallow you up and you were also very afraid.
I have experienced each and I understand.
Still ... You longed for a tie with me.
I haven’t forgotten you.
I empathize with you and desire communication with you, for I believe that we have much in common. Your anonymity will be honored, along with any sort of communication you wish to have with me, and your thoughts will remain in deepest confidence.
This message is for you:
Christ gave His life for you and has a plan for you no matter what has transpired.
It isn’t too late and you haven’t gone too far.
There is nothing a man can do to you … but God’s hand remains the stronger yet.
My thoughts are toward you and prayers are for you.
I have a hunch that you will feel safe with a PO box a distance away,
Please make use of it:

Your friend,
