EARNEST CONCENTRATION

 EARNEST CONCENTRATION
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

"The prospect of being hanged concentrates a man's mind wonderfully."
-Samuel Johnson

Whatever Christ induces in our lives to provoke an earnest concentration of Himself is most worthy of praise.
Difficulty, calamity, catastrophe, and the appointment of intense testing provides an unbelievable and incomparable "channeling" of the internal man.
Seeming impediments, in our lives, catapult faith's development and serve as glorious growth contributors in their end.
Give thanks, my friend, for the provoking of growth in your soul and the "means" which God has used to induce it.
Be it ...
Relational,
Vocational,
Emotional,
Financial,
Physical,
or
Mental:
Be sure that the arena being provoked in your life is intended to invoke a more earnest concentration of Christ.
Beautiful.

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
