EXTREMELY LIBERATING

EXTREMELY LIBERATING
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

There’s something extremely liberating about the confession of sin.
No matter how dark, difficult, painful and problematic it may appear … it’s nothing next to the internal conflict warring within, robbing the soul of its communion with Christ and depriving it of compassion and comfort from Him.
Satan whispers that secrets are better left in the dark;
Christ boldly asserts that secrets are better brought to light.
However dark your sin may be, my friend,
Christ meets confession with amazing compassion.
Not some of the time, not part of the time … but all of the time.
Truth is always honored by Him and courage will be given you by Him.
Come clean with …
 What you’ve done,
Where you’ve been,
and
Who you’ve been.
It’s liberating and cleansing for the soul.
God presides and resides on the side of truth and He will remain your steady and compassionate Advocate always.
Leave the consequences up to the Lord and trust Him.
Confession leads to compassion.
Christ will keep you.
