GOD HAS CHOSEN

GOD HAS CHOSEN
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

Everything you could never be ... Christ died to become for you.
The weak,
the wounded,
the wondering,
the floundering,
the hopeless,
the helpless,
the hurting ...
All of these "needy" ones secure a sacred place in the heart of God the Father and He employs the beautiful strategy called grace to sustain the most desperate of souls.
God is not prejudice in His estimation of souls:
He gives to those who are in need;
He withholds from those who do not.
Don't fret over what you're not, my friend, and don't fret over what you'll never be.
God chooses,
He uses,
He infuses ...
the needy ones with grace.
Come as you are.
Everything you could never be ... Christ died to become for you.
He knows you,
He chose you,
He loves you.
----
"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption, that, as it is written,
'He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.'"

1 Corinthians 1:27-31
