GREYSON'S RIVER

GREYSON'S RIVER

By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

"Greyson's River"
The name of my first short story.
Without my daughter Hannah's insistent and persistent encouragement I would have never attempted such a piece.
After all these years I thought that my writing niche had been secured and specific writing genre made clear but I now make the discovery that I was wrong.
The employment of mind and pen in a new and different arena has been extremely satisfying and gratifying and a pursuit of new writing style has opened itself up wondrously sparking a new creative surge within me.
The passion to write,
Charged and electrified by another.
What a wonder.
-----
Hmmm ...
New discoveries await all of us.
There are new chapters to be written and new peoples yet to meet,
There are new challenges to be tackled and new battles to defeat.
New obstacles to overcome,
And new journeys just begun.
Life is a blessed, wondrous journey of new discoveries.
-----
God has sealed us and preserved us with the presence of His Spirit.
His Spirit is charged, electrified and ignited by all that is holy, right, pure, and good.
Attendance to His flame sparks wonders untold and fans to life a flame that gives light to ourselves and to others.
Because of Him we journey into more,
Hunger and insist on God's word in us more,
Are implored by Him to become more,
Desirous of our eyes to see more.
And like a pen yielding to a new writing path,
The Spirit causes us to experience more.
He wants us to see more of God,
Desire more of God,
Discover more of God.
Open yourself up to new discoveries and allow God to take you into unexplored gratifying places:
-His word is a steady word that has been entrusted to you. Read it.
-His Spirit is a Holy Spirit that seals, counsels, and guides. Listen to Him and commune with Him.
-His Son's blood is a pure blood that flows moment by moment through you. Be washed in Him and accept cleansing from Him continually.
Submerge yourself in the Holy One,
And enjoy new discoveries.
