JOY SHALL COME

JOY SHALL COME
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

Oh heart so bruised and sorely worn,
A comfort blows your way;
The Savior knows and mends the heart,
Desiring to obey.

He breathes a breath and all is new,
Where heartache should arise;
A healing balm is placed upon,
The soul … that sanctifies.

O for the grace that freely flows,
In this I will rejoice:
No man, no plan can circumvent,
My Savior’s precious voice.

Though heart should grieve I will believe,
God takes our deepest pain;
And joy shall come and rivers flow,
And fill the tender plain.

“I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.”
