 One man sins and his heart grows cold and he walks away from God.
One man sins and he calls it sin yet remains in sin before God.
One man sins and his heart is broke and he holds the hand of God.
None of us are immune to sin and temptation but we are each given a free will as to how we choose to deal with it.
So far as I can see we have two choices:
We can walk toward it or we can walk away from it;
We can deny it or we can confess it,
We can enjoy a fleeting moment of pleasure or we can experience a satisfying presence of peace.
But we will never experience both simultaneously.
When Christ convicts the heart of sin … and the weight and depth of its depravity is felt within the soul, be assured that God is at work; that something powerful and supernatural is taking place:
A miracle is occurring and transformation is being witnessed at its earliest stage.
An embryo in the womb; the sign of life.
The Spirit impregnating the soul in the amniotic fluid of truth and grace;
Surrounding it, cleansing it, providing substantial and necessary nutrient to it.
Where blessed truth enters in;
There lies the pure “seed” of Christ within.
Exposure of sin bears witness to life and the heart begins to beat again.
One man sins and his heart is broke … and he holds the hand of God.
Be “that” man and live again.
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me ...
Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways, and sinners shall be converted unto Thee.”
Psalm 51:10&13
