THE PASSING OF NIGHT

THE PASSING OF NIGHT
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

Mingled with sorrow,
With heartache and pain;
The sense that my soul,
Will experience gain.

That shadow will turn,
With the passing of night;
And when I awake;
Then the shadow be light.

That out of the darkness,
And what I have known;
Be tempered for use …
By the One on the throne.

I cannot explain it,
My eye cannot see;
But God is at work,
And His eye is on me.

Granting me freedom,
Forgiveness and peace;
Hearing confession …
And granting release.

And mingled with sorrow,
And shadowed regret;
Is praise .... adoration,
For One I love yet.

I will deliver thee,
and thou shalt glorify Me.”
