There are individuals in our lives who wield the power to convey rich, meaningful, and timely truths to us.
Again and again, inspired seasoned thoughts proceed from them and succeed to move us in highly demonstrative ways.
We are changed, ignited, inspired, and refined through the unfiltered honesty of certain others who dare to be real.
We let them speak,
And find ourselves both afraid and in awe of the risk being taken.
We want to be that ourselves,
But maybe only a little bit.
We discern that a portrayal of perfection, projection, and pretense is preferred by most so we become that to most.
It's simply ... safer.
And we lose our God components.
Sacred communion is forged with those and by those who dare to plummet the depths of their raw realities and share themselves with others.
Sacred communion is an immersion of beautiful souls on a conquest of being real, raw, and redemptive.
There is risk to being real ... and very few that are.
But their is no redemption apart from it.
Christ says so in His word,
I've read the story.
But the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.
John 4:23
