WHO LIVES TO TELLBy: Darrelyn L. Tutt
The darkest deed you’ve ever done,Will be the greatest battle won,And Christ shall rule the hour.Where sin has proper been exposed,There, light illuminates and grows,In triumph and in power.Tis not a single sin or deed,But that the blood will yet exceed,When once the soul confesses. And all the men on earth shall bear,The cross they made another wear,Yet not the man He blesses.Stand not in fear nor be afraid,Of man who as the tender blade,Shall as the grass soon wither.Tis Christ alone and on His throne,Who consecrates, defends His own,And so shall reign forever.
Immortal shall the mortal be,Who through the blood was sentenced free,As son and heir of glory.Tis by the merciful decree,The captive stands forever free …And lives to tell the story.------“I, even I, am He that comforteth you. Who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass?”Isaiah 51:12
