When attempts to hide self and preserve position finally give way to the weightier thing called truth, remarkable things happen.
Exposure of our darkest realities,
Acknowledgement of our deepest depravities,
Confession of our darkest sins,
Admittance of our human frailties,
Does not remove us from entering into God’s grace, but rather, ushers us into it.
Until pride is laid down and fear of man is relinquished,
There is no freedom into this marvelous thing called grace.
We must relieve ourselves of all attempts to hide our darkness in the darkness, and step confidently into the transformative power of Christ’s light.
A new day emerges for the contrite;
A Doorway of Hope …
In purest light.
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. And there I will give her, her vineyards, and make the Valley of Achor (trouble) a door of hope. And there shall she answer as in the days of her youth, as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.”
Hosea 2:14-15
