*The "OCTOBER STUDY" begins today;
join me and invite somebody along.

Man's word comes up short of God's word every time.
Man's words are as fickle as his feelings; susceptible and given over to continual and constant change.
What he knows and says today, he may not be so sure of tomorrow.
He possesses limited "everything."
Limited wisdom, limited understanding, limited experience.
Man is limited in all he does and thus falls short in all of his limited ways.
To lean on man is detrimental and limiting to every degree.
We must look to a land "far off" and a word never-changing.
The face and the voice must be God's ...
whose word never changes.
His unchanging word is resolutely and firmly fixed to His unchanging character.
He can be trusted all day long our whole lives long.
Open up the Bible and see if the words and truths have changed on you.
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever."
Hebrews 13:8
If the reality of God's unchangeableness doesn't fill you with hope, hunger, and a desire for His nearness, I can't think of anything else that might.
God is sufficiently capable, able, and proven in His utter trustworthiness and ability to be truthful and steadfast at all times regardless of what we face in "our" changing times.
When we stake our lives on Him,
And fix our thoughts on Him,
We are given light and life through Him.
Mmmm ...
We live very different and discovering lives when Light dwells with us.
We open ourselves up to an intimate love affair with the One who we were made for and made by and we are "made new" in Him.
Turn to Him,
Read Him,
"Thine eyes shall see the King in His beauty; they shall behold the land that is very far off."
Isaiah 33:17
