A SOON NIGHT

A SOON NIGHT
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

I crave a soon night of star gazing.
I crave a blanket-lined truck box and a very dark night.
A journey to the heights on a peak which none are privy too.
A "black" composed of moonlight and a canopy of stars.
I crave a deep penetrating stillness,
And a depth of solitude,
For which there are no words.
I crave for isolation but with God ...
 And none beside.
I crave the voice of God ...
Inside my night.
