Wounded souls need safety;
A place to both make entrance and exit without fear of reprisal, judgement, and condemnation.
A place where ....
Forgiveness flourishes,
Mercy flows freely,
Compassion is extended,
And the only unwelcome guests are gossip and condemnation.
Everyone needs healing of some sort in their lives,
A place to be real and make needful discoveries on their journey with God and man.
Everyone needs a redemptive place called rest to accommodate weariness of soul and deal honestly in their struggle with sin.
When we apply the compress of compassion to wounded souls,
We provide a safe atmosphere for growth and healing;
We enact and bring to life the theme of redemption and we aid in the enablement of disabled lives.
We become active participants in the work of the cross and we witness the resurrected power of Christ glorified.
Redemption offers refuge:
A place to rest one's head while one's heart is bleeding,
A place where a gentle balm of grace is tenderly interceding,
And the blood of Christ is readily and steadily infused.
Easter is an active word and an open act:
It's about tenderness, compassion, and grace seeping out of the bleeding Christ and bringing redemption to needy souls.
It's about the Father's love and His desire to activate that love within us.
Draw near Him and He'll work through you ...
And you will do likewise.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God ...
