When we're on an adventure we want to know where we're going and who we're being led by. The Christian's journey is sealed and made certain by none other than the Spirit Himself who is 100% engaged and bent on mission within us:
providing direction, supplying resource, and enabling movement.
The Holy Spirit is the true North on the compass and the true guide of eternal mission securing us a true pathway "home."
He never gets lost, never scratches His head over His where-abouts, or questions His role in leading us heavenbound.
+He is composed of 100%  undiluted truth.
+He provides 24/7 roadside assistance.
+He's relational, conversational, and practical.
-He's responsive and in agreement with the Father at all times.
Think of Him at work operating in your soul this very moment and lift up your arms and shout Hallelujah!
"Howbeit, when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me; for He shall receive of Mine, and shall show it unto you."
John 16:13-14
The man or woman of God speaking the truth, telling the truth, and turning to truth is manifesting the Spirit's power and subjecting himself to it.
Come what the truth may cost,
the inconceivable riches of glory and eternity await that individual.
Truth telling is a forcible retelling of the hidden man within.
Weighty stuff ...
The Holy Spirit also acts as a personal tutor and, with the word of God, daily instructs. Divine tutelage is offerered without prejudice, bias, or money to the "whosoevers" that ask.
"But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."
John 14:26
The Holy Spirit will offer perfect counsel, companionship, and camaraderie at just the right time and in just the right way on our journey.
He secures the soul's "post" and acts as Sentry at the gates,
no man preventing.
He'll never, ever leave or forsake.
Trust in the empowerment and enablement of the Spirit, Beloved One.
Lean into Him, listen to Him, and be responsive to Him.
Come what will and come what may ...
He's got your soul,
He's got the truth,
and He's got your back.
Rejoice and journey with Him in adventure.
"But the anointing which you have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him."
1 John 2:27
1) Read John 14-16 & 1 John 2.
Enlist the tasks assigned to the Spirit by the Father on your behalf.
Is there any role dismissed from Him that He hasn't been charged to perform?
Receive, record, and rehearse the works of the Spirit.
This assignment will fill you with encouragement and joy.
2) One of the clearest clarifications of the Spirit's presence in an individual's life is truth-telling. Truth-telling leads to salvation, sanctification, and depth of intimacy.
It also leads to spiritual empowerment, enablement, and enrichment of the deepest kind.
Who, in your life, is tangibly expressing the Spirit's power?
Give careful consideration to what sets them apart and distinguishes them. What do you observe?
3) Truth is a tangible expression and manifestation of the Spirit;
and confession wields Spirit-filled ramifications producing a harvest of righteousness.
Begin with an emptying out of your soul and participate in the work and wonder of the Spirit this very moment.
Live out a redemptive adventure.
