By: Darrelyn L. Tutt"... Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of the heavens from God. Having the glory of God; and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. And had a wall great and high and twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written there on, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.... And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every gate was of one pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.Revelation 21:9-12;21-22------Here now in the believer's final season, rest is substantially afforded and made complete. Gates secure the splendorous home called eternity and the new Jersusalem is void and free of sin. Her beauty is fair, shining, and illustrious; she descends a great light of brilliant beauty, clear as crystal and as the jasper in her glory. She hedges in the elect by the strength and security of gates which extend north, south, east, and west and line the perimeter of the great city. The names on the gates are marked out by the names of every tribe and angel appropriated for the safety and security of the New Jerusalem. No evil assailant shall be let in.No evil calamity shall befall God's elect.Security is now hers forever and ever. Not one fear of man or one face of evil man shall be allowed within her gates. The boarder is secure and the border patrol righteous. The gates will hold. And the glory of God shall be within.----We must look well and dream deep of that city to come.We must imagine the fortifying gates around us even now which have been prepared since and for ... an eternity. In the the end, the "true" church of "pure" believers shall prevail, no man preventing, and the gates of the New Jerusalem shall enforce and make safe those within. And the great Gatekeeper shall be worshipped and forever adored.Look well to the gates."Enter ye in at the straight gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction and many there be which go in there at. Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."Matthew 7:13-14-----See the city of pearled gate ... still to come."And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every gate was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it."Revelation 21:21-22-----
