“The hand of the Lord God was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones. And caused me to pass by them round about: and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and lo, they were very dry.
And He said unto me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’
And I answered,
‘O Lord God, Thou knowest.’”
Ezekiel 37:1-3
In the most desolate periods of our lives, when we are seated with the corpses of death and situated in the midst of a “dry bones” place,
how utterly and impossibly difficult the entire landscape can appear.
Yet … out of this landscape and out of death’s valley whispers the witness of the Spirit’s sufficient power and might evoking the question,
“Son of man, can these bones live?”
And in this very dry and desolate place …
I believe that the voice and power of God will be magnified within the elect, and the megaphone of grace and triumphant life shall be heard, understood, and realized within the hearts and minds of those in affinity with Christ;
These shall hear the bones come together and see God’s vast army made alive.
 Ezekiel’s valley shall spring to life again,
And Christ’s redemptive blood shall empower and make fully alive again.
And the glory of God will be revealed ...
For no other power wields such authority.
Redemptive power is a power unto its own;
 Made alive,
 Fully alive,
 In Christ,
Through Christ...

“… There was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them above, but there was no breath in them.
And He said unto me,
‘Prophecy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man and say to the wind,
‘Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.’
So I prophesied as He commanded, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
… And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put My Spirit in you and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it,
Saith the Lord.”
Ezekiel 37:7-10 and 13-14
“O Lord God, Thou knowest.”
Mmmm ...
Be empowered by the redemptive power that flows freely from the living Christ and brings life, healing, and vitality to the dry spirit.
The dry bones shall live again,
The valley shall spring to life,
And Redemptive power shall be the theme of those alive in Christ.
"And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the mighty power, which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies."
Ephesians 1:19-20
Selah and Amen.
Let it be ...
*Steep yourself in Ezekiel 37 and strength will be given you in the valley.
