I am not what I own,
I am not what I earn;
I am not what I’m taught,
I am not what I learn.

Not a product of choices,
Nor puppet to dance;
No strings to attach,
To a reason or chance.

Not choosing but chosen,
Not knowing but known;
Not giving but given,
Not owning but owned.

Delivered divinely,
‘Tis reason to sing;
I am what I am ….
By the grace of the King.
But by the grace of God I am what I am; and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than them all; Yet not I; but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10
