IMPACT

Brace for Impact!
Live life as a verb instead of a noun.
Activate your dreams by putting goal "footings" to them.
Engage in concrete, productive, and positive steps that walk you deeper into the life you want to live.
You can do it ...
Put one step to it.
Begin Now!
------
Seven life-impacting "verb activities" which will positively and productively affect you if, with diligence, you implement them daily.
1) Brrr ... Rrrr ... and Mmm
Freeze your buns off in a frigid morning shower!
You'll feel like you can attack anything after this and you'll actually look forward to it.
I won't be joining you on this one but I guarantee positive and effective results.
-----
2) Meditation
A deep meditation practice is effective in aligning the body, mind, and spirit with God at the beginning of a day. You'll find yourself resorting to it when you encounter "stress and anxiety attacks" of the worst kind and you'll habitually return here as you witness the value of it.
*This highly "personal" practice with God is responsible for my stability, confidence, tranquility, joy, and direction throughout the day. In showing "my" personal practice to others, many of you have begun to implement beautiful and intimate practices of your own!
We were created for deep and intimate experience and meditation is an active participant in it.
------
3) Exercise
Physical activity is paramount to feeling alive.
Move your body and you positively move your whole being.
Stretch. Walk. Bike. Climb mountains. Swim. Boat. Kayak. Horseback.
Move. Move. Move.
Be adventurous and try new things.
*Create memories around activities instead of food and you'll be amazed at the memories afforded you!
------
4) Fresh Air
There's nothing like fresh air for sparking creativity and fanning mental mobility.
It costs nothing and is afforded everyone. Utilize it and experience its energizing and rejuvenating effects.
Sunshine. Cloud. Rain. Snow. Humid. Hot. Cold.
Everything in-between.
Get out and experience the weather provided you and resist the urge to complain about inclement weather; view it as a challenging force instead of a negative force and get out and play in it.
Stop your mouth with activity and enjoy the fresh air.
------
5) Read
Absorb yourself in a Bible reading plan that positions your soul to enjoy the wholeness of God's word and communion with Him. It's His letter to you and He wants you to take it personally and grow in relationship with Him.
Then rediscover life at your local library.
Inhale the free resources at your disposal, called books, and dive into the minds of great men and women all around you.
Explore themes of interest and see where this extraordinary habit takes you.
------
6) Journey With Others
Share your beautiful positive energy with others.
Invite others to participate with you in activities you find exhilarating.
If "you" find an activity life-giving, it's likely others will also.
Refuse to allow negative nods to deter your invitation giving. Keep asking and expecting a positive and affirmative response.
You'll be amazed at the new company that joins you and the companionship afforded you.
-------
7) Serve Others
Creatively and beautifully serve others.
Avoid a copy-cat mentality and utilize original measures and energy to love on others.
Give of your time and consider what might build up another in a concrete and valuable way:
+Maybe it's as simple as eating a meal with an individual who sits alone at the table.
+A game of cards with a shut-in.
+A big old engaging bear hug.
+A note of encouragement.
Be thoughtful and display active and compassionate love.
------
Live life as a verb and love it!
Be engaged and become engaging.
Be energized and become energizing.
Be challenged and become challenging.
Become a verb ...
Then Brace for Impact.

Love the Life you Live!
