And for just a little while it seemed that evil was prevailing,
And that truth was certain failing.
But it only seemed that way;
It wasn't that way at all.
Christ speaks emphatically about the truth because He is the truth.
Because of Him and through Him we are enabled and empowered to tell the truth and live out the truth ... even when it's hard, unpopular, and undesirable.
"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, and neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."
John 3:19-21
The telling of truth and the "tellers" of truth bear witness to the Truth, displaying the  signature and seal of the Holy Spirit's presence within. Man is simply too evil to muster up the courage required for his cleansing unless the Spirit moves knowingly, powerfully, and lovingly within.
The man or woman who tells the truth, dear Reader, will most certainly reap cleansing results from the Truth and this individual has nothing to fear.
This individual is in possession of a most beautiful, certain, and unchanging reality.
"Sanctify them through Thy truth; Thy word is truth."
John 17:17
No man can prevent God's word from bringing about the changes which He desires in our lives. No man's lie, no matter how great it seems, is equal or greater than God's pure truth.
It never will be.
Rest confidently and quietly in the wondrous realities of God's promises and provisions.
Put them forth ... no man preventing,
And trust God for a timely and truthful outcome.
In His time ...
"Truth is always strong no matter how weak it looks; and falsehood is always weak no matter how strong it looks."
