Brett James ...
My eldest brother was born and relieved of earth before my time began, and yet his little life holds a collection of thoughts within me.
 Surviving only a few short months, the little mementos and reminders given me of his life on earth are priceless, precious tokens which quietly satisfy and draw me.
Reflections of Brett James:
 -He has reached heaven's gates before me.
-He has witnessed heaven's glory before me.
-He is experiencing the nearness of Christ without me.
-One day he will adore my Christ with me.
-Together we will worship our God.
That will be heaven.
The message of his life does not speak to me of morbidity but of fortitude and challenge to  think longingly in a vertical direction while on earth.
Little Brett James helps me in my endeavor to do this ... and my longing to meet him intensifies.
So does my yearning to be with Jesus.
God be praised for all that speaks to us about brevity on earth and longevity of heaven.
As Memorial Day approaches, flower arrangements are purchased, gravesides are visited, and memories surface, allow yourself to linger on the realities of what's coming and not what is.
There's so much more;
hold out a little bit longer ...
Your time is coming.
"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there ye may be also."
John 14:3
