It seemed like so many evenings;
Mom and Dad at home and Jimmy playing after dinner.
Mom and Dad were absorbed with jobs and didn’t notice the time.
 It was a full moon and some of the light escaped through the windows; Mom glanced at the clock and headed to Jimmy’s room.
“Jimmy, time for bed, I’ll come and tuck you in, in a little while.”
Jimmy’s mother came in as promised to find young Jimmy sitting quietly in his play clothes gazing out the window. His eyes were fixated on the great moon and his far-away gaze was almost concerning to his mom.
“Jimmy, are you alright? Is everything okay? Is there something you need to tell me, Jimmy?”
His mom’s imploring voice.
“Mommy,” little Jimmy said, “Do you see that moon?”
 “Yes,” said his mother, “I do.”
“Well one day, Mommy, I’m going to walk on that moon.”
Jimmy’s mother chuckled with welcome relief,
“Yes, Jimmy I’m sure you will, but now it’s time for bed and not for dreams.”
32 years later James Irwin stepped on the moon’s surface with an accompaniment of 12 other chosen men.
Some dreams are too powerful to forget;
And some dreams are simply …
worth dreaming.
No matter how impossible and improbable your dreams may seem, my friend,
God has the power to turn them into wondrous realities.
Cling to Him,
Believe in Him,
Hold fast to Him ...
And lay before Him the desires He has placed within your soul.
Refuse to adopt negativity into your mindset and simply pray over the desires He has placed there.
One day ...
You'll walk on "your" moon.

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."
Psalm 37:2-4
