"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field."
Luke 13:44
Have you ever experienced the finding of a "treasure" of such magnitude that it ...
Seizes you,
Takes hold of you,
 Emphatically changes you,
 And governs the course of your entire life?
Have you ever been consumed by such extraordinary spiritual "wonder" that you cannot contain it and do not wish to?
Oh ... that Christ would be formed in us, in such engaging and increasing manner and measure that all else would seem valueless to us;
That the treasure of knowing and possessing Christ would exceedingly grow to a measure that cannot be defined or confined;
That the contour of the soul would take the shape of the Lover of the soul and be utterly consumed by a burning "want" of more.
This is what it is to know Christ.
The effect of redemption is to fill the heart with an inexpressable joy and gladness that cannot be harnessed, hindered, or held back ... and exhausts itself in its grateful expression to others.
There is so much more to adore in Christ;
And treasure we've yet to obtain.
Pursue Him with all of your being ...
And let Him fill you with wonder.
