John 15 and Psalm 15
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

Wonder working Father,
I rise with a sense of excitement and anticipation;
perceiving that today is going to hold something special, revelatory, and life changing.
Sensing that new discoveries will be made,
New people will be intersected,
A new path will open up straight before me.
Give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a soul that's quick to worship.
Quicken me and engage me with Thy Spirit's presence,
Energize and employ me with truths from Thy word.
For mercifully, beautifully loving me,
I give thanks.
"Cause me to hear Thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in Thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto Thee."
Psalm 143:8
John 15 ---> Psalm 15 ---> John 15
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken to you."
John 15:1-3
"Lord, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart."
Psalm 15:1-2
"Ye haven not chosen Me but I have chosen you and ordained you; that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye ask the Father if My name, He may give it to you. These things I command you, that ye love one another."
John 15:16-17

What truths do "you" see?
Record three.
Here are mine:
1) The child of God shall be cleansed of the world as he is filled with the Word.
Purging and cleansing are active participants in His work.
2) The Spirit of God leads us into truth 100% of the time.
Where we are led to speak the truth, we shall reap the benefits of a strengthened communion fostered through it.
The truthful shall be bound to the "Faithful One" and He who is able shall most certainly deliver and be glorified.
3) Fruitfulness is a byproduct of communion with Christ.
Tradition, religion, and good works can be produced by man,
but fruitfulness only comes from the Spirit's activity in our lives.
We must hold fast and hold tight to the One who never changes, and rejoice in the beautiful changes which are coming.
