OCTOBER 18: TODAY'S RHEMA

TODAY'S RHEMA:

John 16 and Psalm 16
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

Truthful and Faithful Father,
Open up the eyes of my heart.
Bring life to the longings in my soul.
Stir sacred desire in the innermost place.
And let me realize, in this day, more of You.
Cause the decisions that I make to rest on the sufficiency and directives of Your word.
Let Your word guide me, sustain me, and grant me deep confidence in where I go and what I do. Let the truths of this day afford me stamina, strength, and wisdom. Bring them to mind continually throughout my day and cause them to bear witness of Your presence in my life.
Highlight the passages most needful for my soul with a "lifting" of a special few as I read.
Cause Your word to catapult me into new arenas and embolden me with a supernatural strength for wherever You might take me.
Let my life be a platform of Your grace, no man preventing.
Let me speak of You and live for You in an impassioned and emboldened way.
Amen.

What truths do "you" see?
Record three.
Here are mine:
1) The truthful One brings His truth to bear in our lives. Christ helps us to tell the truth, live the truth, and testify to the truth.
2) Joy and peace are indwelling agents of the Holy Spirit that can't be manufactured in the flesh; they are components of a walk with Christ and they provide the believer with a settled countenance while living in an unsettled world.
3) There is a way which seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death.(Proverbs 14:12)
All paths apart from Christ lead to nowhere but hell.
All paths toward the Christ lead us safely home.
And in Him we shall know the Truth ... and the Truth shall set us free.
WE SHALL OVERCOME!
