John 20 and Psalm 20
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

Unfailing Father,
All of myself I give to You ...
Asking of You to make me something,
Asking of You to do with me something,
Confident that You will glorify Yourself most perfectly through me.
Use the life that I have forsaken, to help others now forsake.
Use the lies that have been exposed and forgiven me to the benefit of those now hiding and living in them.
Use the weaknesses of my life to demonstrate the power and glory of Your name.
Not only do I believe in the promises You've given me, Father,
But I have acted upon them and openly staked my life to them,
Confident that You will do what You have said,
No man preventing.
Display Your holiness through my fragility and frailty.
I love You,
Adore You,
And I worship You.
"Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation, and uphold me with Thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Thy way; and sinners shall be converted unto Thee."
Psalm 51:12-13
Today's Reading:
John 20 ---> Psalm 20 ---> John 20
"And Jesus saith unto her, 'Mary.' She turned herself and saith unto Him, 'Rabboni,' which is to say, Master."
John 20:16
"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God."
Psalm 20:7
"But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through His name."
John 20:31
Additional Threads:
John 20:6 ---> Mathew 28:1-8
Psalm 20:7 ---> Isaiah 31:1-3
John 20:31 ---> 1 John 5:11-14
What truths do you see?
Record three.
A thread of my own:
1) The word within us is not understood until the Spirit within us reveals and interprets it to us.
"For as yet they knew not the Scripture, that He must rise from the dead."
John 20:9
1 John 2:27 & 1 Cor. 2:13
We can never know at what time the interpretation of God's word will take place but we can trust that it most certainly will in "His" time and when it is deemed right.
2) The more we experience the fickleness of man;
We more apt we are to trust in the faithfulness of God.
The great beauty and wonder of experiencing man's untrustworthiness is that it leads us into the necessary trustworthiness and utter sufficiency of God.
We learn the most painful of lessons about man in order that we don't become reliant upon him.
3) Jesus appeared to those He loved and to those who loved Him; as He did back then so He does still today.
Mary looked at the place of his death ... and she found life.
 In the searching and seeking, there is gaining and finding.
Ask Peter and John.
The secrets of the Kingdom are in hiding.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
"The secret things belong unto the Lord our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever; that we may do all the words of this law."
Deut. 29:29
"Call unto Me and I will answer thee; and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not."
Jeremiah 33:3
