In exposing more of ourselves to Jesus,
He exposes more of Himself to us.
This truth is what grinds to a halt every need for pretension, projection, and secret we might wish to keep.
In the habitat of a lie, many secrets there lie, embedding the soul in darkness and unraveling the soul in more sin.
The noose tightens,
The stranglehold intensifies,
And the choking of victim within ...
Bears witness that death is its end.
In the gathering folds of sin is the absence of mercy.
They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Jonah 2:8
It is to the detriment of the believer and the delight of the Accuser (Satan) that sin lies hidden in the "inner santuary."
 Scripture transcends and declares repetitively that until sin is addressed and confessed there can be no pardon or forgiveness.
Scripture emphatically declares all encounters of sin to be brought into light where Christ might make right and set free.
It is for liberation that Christ has set us free.
"But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light; for whatsoever doth make manifest is light."
Ephesians 5:13
The truth about sin is that it needs cleansing;
The truth about cleansing is that it needs truthfulness about sin.
And there is no other way.
"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy."
Proverbs 28:13
God did not leave Adam and Eve to hide in their sin,
But to relieve them and cover them upon its acknowledged effects.
So far did He go, that even though He had done no wrong, He sought them out and provided a merciful and timely remedy to cover them.
The situation of sin hasn't changed, dear reader.
You and me are Adam and Eve with only a change of name.
We must come to terms with our sin as they did,
 In order to receive forgiveness as they did.
And we already know the end of this story;
Christ has told us the blood shall prevail.
The blood is not prejudice, bias, or partial.
The blood is free and applicable to all.
The universal remedy,
The atonement and covering,
 For all mens' sins.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."
Romans 3:23-24
 If you're afraid to confess sin and call it what it is;
It's my promise and pledge to stand beside you and accompany you,
As though it were my very own.
You are most certainly not alone.
It's with firm and growing belief that I recognize "sin" as our one true commonality and I recognize our Savior as our one true Unifier.
What Christ has brought together let no man separate.
Let all the redeemed shout,
"To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved."
Ephesians 1:6
