"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength."
Isaiah 26:3-4
Some of us, this very moment, are experiencing strenuous and difficult trials of the worst kind. We've given in to an early "doom and gloom" forecast anticipating rains and prevailing winds of a destructive kind.
We've given ourselves permission to be beaten about by the straight line winds of  negativity without any hope of positive outcome or possibility.
"O what gloomy forecast lies ahead," we tell ourselves.
And we choose to dwell there.
Stop it at once, my friend.
Take control of your mind because it's yours to take!
The scripture declares it.
"Staying power" in a dark hour is entirely ours and possible.
God Himself has provided an exact remedy for our hour of distress and time of need.
We've only but to take Him at His word and receive His promised timely providence upon doing so.
Look at the scripture from Isaiah 26:3-4 with me. Let's read it aloud together seven times and be dipped and cleansed as our beautiful friend Naaman (2 Kings 5:15.) Do not read on until you have rehearsed this monumental and empowering promise the full seven times.
Hmmm ...
+Do we not experience some renewed and positive "mind" transfer from the God of glory?
+Do we not perceive that with an elevation of thought comes an elevation of mind?
+Do we not experience a confident calm quieting the gusty winds which had moments earlier threatened to undo us?
+Do we not here begin to experience the guaranteed peace which God has promised us?
Partial, temporal, and situational?
No ... not at all.
We are guaranteed full and perfect peace upon a focus of Jesus Christ.
Yes and Amen!
The One we just celebrated with our "lips" over Easter is to be the focal point of our minds ever after. The One who rose victorious, triumphant, and for an eternity extends His peace to you and me:
+No man can remove it.
+No circumstance or trial can rob it.
+No evil can thwart it.
Not one thing, my friend, has the power to prevent our bodies, minds, and spirits from experiencing perfect peace in Jesus Christ.
This promise is ours for the taking upon the rehearsal and receiving of it. We must speak it continually until we own it.
When we fix our thoughts,
 we fix our lives,
and JEHOVAH makes all the difference.
In Him is our strength!
Hallelujah ... do I hear an Amen?
Love the life you live ...
in perfect peace.
