I made a remarkable comeback on the heels of an extraordinary setback;
And my passions have been refueled and reclaimed.
My joy is real, my faith is deep, and my life is full.
My world has taken on a new look and I have awoke, as from a very deep sleep, to the wondrous mysteries, promises, and realities placed upon me by God.
To Him be all praise.
Sometimes we arrive at a place in our lives that is painful, hard, and difficult.
It’s not the place we want to be,
maybe it’s not even the place we ought to be,
but it’s still the place we find ourselves to be.
In this confined and narrow space, we come into close and personal contact with the God we thought we knew,
and then realize … we barely knew at all.
And this place we earlier questioned becomes inhabited with a development and a concentrated communion with God that nothing on earth compares to.
God grows us, develops us, teaches us, and envelops us with His love.
In this narrow space, we are elevated and brought into a wider place,
where we learn to serve and love God.
Some of you know exactly what I’m talking about …
And others of you will learn in a time to come.
Thank God for the hard places,
the confined spaces …
And a love that won’t let go.
He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because He delighted in me.”
Psalm 18:19
