SACRED SPIT

SACRED SPIT

By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

The spit of Jesus made the blind man see,
and has been applied to "me."
Jesus has taken His holy spit, mingled it with His holy blood, and smeared it all over my sinful soul.
I am free because of what Jesus has done for me,
and I can "see" no difference between me and the blind man.
Jesus saw both of us, He stopped to save both of us, and He continues to extend Himself to all of us.
"And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man which was blind from His birth."
John 9:1
According to the Scripture this speaks to the story of all of us, dear reader.
According to the plan of salvation it's Jesus who has to do the "seeing" because we're blind from birth, and it's Jesus who has to do the "stopping" because we have no seeing.
And it's Jesus who must apply the remedy to make us truly "see."
And those of us who truly see are different.
We see things different,
Come at things different,
And are unusuallly in"sight" ful and delightful in the "different."
We are children of the Most High ...
And we come to "see" and to be more like Him.

Religious men will continue to scoff, and Jesus will continue to save.
Religious men will continue to mock, and Jesus will continue to make whole.
Religious men will continue to condemn, and Jesus will continue to extend compassion.
Jesus will keep spitting, breathing, loving, and "showing" Himself to all the sinful men and women He sees,
And those He makes to see will speak as the blind man:
"One thing I know, that once I was blind, and now I see."
John 9:25
