SITUATED
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

There isn't a "cell" in the world which can define you, confine you, or resign you to a lesser position or degree than that which Christ has assigned you.
Paul learned this reality and you and I must learn this reality.
There's no place in the world which we can find ourselves but that Christ won't provide sufficiently for us in that place.
Is the Spirit lessened or strengthened by our weakness?
Does the word mean what it says or not?
Hmmm ...
"And He said unto me, 'My grace is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect in weakness' Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
2 Corinthians 12:9
Do you "say" you believe this or live like you believe this?
Does God need "you" for anything ... or do you need Him for everything?
Yes, dear reader, think heavily and whole-heartedly on these matters.
-Christ's position is the secret to "your" position.
-Christ's placement is the secret to "your" placement.
-Christ's stability is the secret to "your" stability.
-Christ's holiness is the secret to "your" holiness.
Do you not see that the strength of your walk with Christ will only be as strong as your reliance and understanding of His placement in your life?
Where is Christ seated in your mind?
Is He at the right hand of the Father or do you have yourself seated there?
Which statement are "you" living out?
One which speaks to "you" or one which speaks to "Him?"
------
When men lie to you, condemn you, or work to silence you ...
You're not to speak to anything about "you."
You are to speak to the finished work of Christ and His death and resurrection at work in you.
This is the point.
We speak, rely, and lean on the finished qualifying work of our Redeemer and the Perfector of our faith,
JESUS CHRIST.
And we have nothing to boast about in ourselves.
End of Story.
--------
Hope is not moveable or changeable.
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth."
Colossians 3:1-2
------
Joy is not subject to the thoughts of men nor dependent upon them.
"For our conversation is in heaven, from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able to subdue all things unto Himself."
Philippians 3:20-21
-----
Peace does not translate from a horizonal positioning but a vertical.
"Unto Thee lift I up mine eyes, O Thou that dwellest in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until He have mercy upon us."
Psalm 123:1-2
-------
Quit speaking to your condition and begin speaking to Christ's position and He will have mercy on you, deliver you, and empower you for works of service which He has planned in advance for you.
"For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
Ephesians 2:10
-------
No man can take away, remove, or rob that which Christ has procured, provided, and preserved for you.
Rejoice in the realities He's prepared and provided for you.
REJOICE.
"The Lord looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of His habitation, He looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. He fashioneth their hearts alike; He considereth all their works. There is no king saved by the multitude of a host; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. A horse is a vain thing for safety; neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in Thee."
Amen.
Psalm 33:13-22
