Today something happened to me:
-I didn't hear an audible voice from heaven.
-I wasn't privy to a miraculous sighting.
-I didn't see angels ascend and descend into the heavens.
Nothing at all seemed different about today except my heart.
It seemed like God was touching it,
Handling it,
Being gentle with it,
Softening it,
Making room, somehow, for more holiness.
Pushing out more of "me" so that we could make room for more of Him.
Specific Scriptures permeated my heart,
And instruction seemed concrete.
I responded.
I obeyed.
And the peace came ...
Like a gentle, cleansing, calming, peaceful rain.
Washing and refreshing me,
Soaking into me.
Clean and pure.
And some days that seem ordinary are really not very ordinary at all.
These are the best days of all.
These are the days of revival.

"The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure enlightening the eyes."
Psalm 19:8
