SOONER OR LATER

SOONER OR LATER
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

If you think you're beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win but you think you can't,
It's almost a given you won't.
Life's battles are not always won,
By the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins ...
Is the man who thinks he can.

What is it that made these individuals famous?
Hmmm ...
Think about it long and you'll conclude with a simple answer:
Every one of these individuals overcame extraordinary odds and that's what made them famous in the end.
+Where others stopped short, they held on.
+Where others gave up, they got up.
+Where others saw the cup half empty, they chose to see the cup half full.
They persisted and resisted negative feedback.
They fought and they overcame what needed to be overcome.
They saw more so they did more.
They believed more so they gave more.
They moved to the finish and they finished strong.
------
Surround yourself with individuals who finished strong;
it's a positive assertion and affirmation to yourself that you believe yourself capable of doing the same.
 Take a trip to the Library and invite two "overcomers" into your life.
Sit down with them.
Listen to them.
And read them.
