This past week I made a trip to the Chiropractor's office.
Donning a familiar wardrobe of gown minus cap, I stood patiently for approximately half an hour while a series of spine xrays were taken.
-I listened to the lingo of a seasoned technology Radiologist, a Chiropractor, and an assistant speak a conversation completely foreign to me the entire time.
- I listened to an exchange of numbers ranging between one and a hundred fly back and forth between the "professional three" while they came to a consensus on a specific number while pointing to areas on the xray.
-I listened to briefings, questions, and all kinds of interesting data "exchange" and understood not a word of it.
The xrays of my spine were openly exposed, on display, and openly discussed.
A pen was continually referrencing and pointing out specifics about my spine in energetic interesting tones.
Input from the patient was zero.
Understanding given to the patient was zero.
I was positioned different ways, told when to inhale and exhale, and was quick to comply with all that was asked.
The discussion temporarily ceased, the xrays had been completed, and more discussion would erupt upon my departure.
I was told I could get dressed and leave at my convenience.
The purpose of my Chiropractic visit was not due to an accident, injury, or back need.
The purpose of my visit was to provide my Chiropractor acquaintance with experiental knowledge in working through the early glitches of a new xray machine, hence the presence of the Tech Radiologist.
Basically, I was a "guinea pig" allowing for successful upcoming exams on future patients of which I might possibly be one.
By performing in the experimentation process, I was contributing to the education of my Chiropractor, who was deeply appreciative of my assistance and who has now filed my "free" but expensive xrays in my personal file.
A consultation to the "findings" will also be provided free of charge.
A "win-win" deal for both of us.
A variety of thoughts were mine upon my departure and I have contributed three for the reader to reflect on:
1) The three seasoned professionals in the room illustrate the "Trinity" and the work performed on our behalf.
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."
Romans 8:26-27
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit converse in a "foreign tongue" about our needs, with a continual communion fostered between them about the outcome we will arrive at due to "their" intercession.
The Father's glory is the chief aim;
And the "patients" frail story will be utilized in achieving it.
Mmmm ...
What a marvelous wonder.
2) The Father possesses full knowledge of our "internal" being.
The mind and soul are lit up like a spine on an xray and nothing is hidden from God.
"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight; but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we will give an account."
Hebrews 4:13
This is a frightening reality if you're living a lie and it's a liberating reality if you're living in truth.
You can't run and you can't hide from the Father's eyes; and it's a miserable existance to attempt to.
Take my word for it and come clean on all the realities regarding your soul.
Do it now.
3) Those who stand obediently for the "xray" and comply with the Father's requests for "participation in posturing" receive blessing upon blessing for their obedience.
Communion is fostered at a depth which defies explanation and one's "personal file" is full and overflowing with the Father's mercy, grace, and commendation upon it.
The Father's eyes are the only eyes that matter.
His voice on the "file" and His prints on the soul are the only ones that garner and secure it with the hope of an eternity.
"Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams."
1 Samuel 15:22
To entrust ones self "fully" to the Father's capable and loving hands is to live a life aligned with God's desires and to enjoy life's sweetest pleasures.
All such individuals who respond to Him shall experience a peace which passes understanding,
And a joy which exceeds the ideals of men.
God the Father,
The Holy Chiropractor,
The righteous "Aligner" of souls made right in Him.
To Him be praise.
