TENDER PETALS

TENDER PETALS
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

The tender petals fall gentle.
Soft colors,
Mild pastels,
In delicate form.
Pink flamingo, swan white, in tender hue.
A downy nest encircling a crystal fluted vase.
The single petals stroked and placed within my hand.
One by one ...
Vulnerable softness.
Tender beauty.
The touch of grace.
This is how I imagine grace to "feel" if it had to be tangibly described.
The colors translated through softness.
The appeal felt in the gentleness of touch.
Something received,
Immortally soft upon the soul.
So beautiful.
Delicate.
Gentle.
Quiet.
The soul that lies soft in the hand of God ...
Shall feel such grace.
Tender petals.
