But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’
He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went.
Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go.
Which of the two did the will of his father?
They said to him, ‘The first.”
Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you.”
Matthew 21:28-31

It’s easy to articulate noble and excellent intentions but it’s quite another thing to fulfill them. God doesn’t commend individuals for lip service; He commends them for obedience. God doesn’t want to see your head nodding … He wants to see your feet moving.
Perhaps you are like me, dear friend, and you are struggling to “do” something God has called you to do.
Maybe the “thing” seems impossible because you’ve nodded your head and failed so many times before.
Maybe you feel afraid,
And you wonder if you have the strength to do it.
I'd like to encourage you to take one little step of obedience in a right direction right now.
Once you’ve taken that first step … ask God to grace you with a personal encouragement that will help you take another step.
God is pleased with the smallest of attempts to be obedient to Him;
He knows what’s difficult for you and He promises to assist you.
He'll never call you to a task without providing the means to work through you to fulfill it.
Answer the call.
Affirm with your feet what you said with your lips.
God will be faithful ...
Take a step.

"According as His divine power has given unto us all things, that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue."
