Battles are fought and won by the Lord.
Where we know ourselves to be weak … God reveals Himself as our strength.
When we know ourselves to be vulnerable … God displays His power and might.
When we see ourselves as subject to God’s authority and power we witness a most magnificent display of His authority and power.
He is mighty to save, mighty to deliver … and true to His character and word.
God will supply and aid you with whatever is needed to fight the battle that is engaged against you. You will be sufficiently equipped at the right moment with the right weaponry.
The giant will fall, the sword will be still, and God will prevail in the end.
Gather the stones and pull back the sling … and stand in the strength of the Lord.
The battle belongs to the Lord.

Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in his shepherd’s bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine.
… So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. Then David put his hand in his bag and took a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone
sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.
So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David.
