Thunderous. Wondrous. Magnificent.
Mesmerizing. Majestic. Forceful.
The sound of waves ...
I will hear them for the rest of my life.
Forcibly clapping the rocks stationed on the Florida beach front.
A gift from my brother ... a token of his love for me.
Without a doubt I am an auditory individual.
While I appreciate the visual as do we all,
 I yearn for the audible.
Maybe it feels a more private and removed sensory,
More personal, provoking, and suggestive of intimacy.
I simply know that God has created me to hear sounds,
To hear His voice distinctly,
And what I hear within I desire to convey to another forcibly.
Hence, the instrument called the pen.
This morning I woke to the waves of God's love;
His forcible mercy washing over me.
A canopy of grace renewing, rejuvening, restoring me.
Lapping and crashing,
Distinctly and decidedly immersing me in the "sounds" of the Father.
Christ's unswerving love catapults me into arenas of praise and a desire to share His uncontestable glory with others.
He stands alone in His absolute and indisputable glory.
-With clarity and force Christ has rescued and redeemed me from the clutch of the enemy. At no other time in my life have I experienced a greater sense of the Father's dominion over darkness than I have this past year.
God be praised.
-With favor and supreme "choseness" Christ has removed me from the condemnation of men and placed me in the procured and secured position of His glorious protection.
My soul is seated with His in the heavenlies and none has jurisdiction over me.
God be praised.
-The power emanating from the Father produces a fear of God which replaces a fear of man and supercedes in elevating my soul to new heights of intimacy with the Christ.
God be praised.
Christ's voice sounds within me and over me.
With conviction and concise "telling" my love for Christ shall spill out of me and into the lives of others in a crashing, lapping, "telling" sort of way.
He loves so beautifully.
God be praised.
This morning I opened a "message'' from my daughter and I heard the ocean waves on my vacationing daughter's Florida beach front.
She sent me the sounds of the ocean;
She sent me the sounds of the Father,
His rhythmic, unending, amazing love.
And I remembered.
Thank you, God.
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
Psalm 29:3-4
*Psalm 29 is my most favorite Psalm in the world.
Read it and listen to the "sounds" of the Father.
