THE WORDS YOU SAY

THE WORDS YOU SAY
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

When you speak poorly of another;
You convey a message about yourself.
Be careful,
Considerate,
Compassionate,

of others.
Rehearse,
Rethink,
Review,
Reflect

The words you say …
Before you say them.
~~~
If you can’t speak constructively,
Kindly,
Courteously,
Without contempt …
Be quiet.
~~~
Words are a reflection of your soul;
Use them wisely.
Edify,
Encourage,
Uplift,
and
Engage

In ways that enhance conversation.
~~~
Where you’ve spoken
Poorly,
Improperly,
Unjustly….
Confess,
Use your mouth
Respectably.
Appreciate new opportunity.
Employ your mouth
Responsibly.
Love others …
and
Do it
Intentionally.
Your words tell a story ...
Effectively.
~~~

“Whoever guards his mouth and tongue,
keeps his soul from troubles.”
Proverbs 21:23
