The Old Testament held countless prophecies of Christ's first coming,
 and He came.
The New Testament holds countless prophecies of Christ's return,
and He's coming back.
A longing spirit and watchful eyes are needed in this crazy hell bent world.
We need to wake ourselves from fleshly slumber and earthly lethargy.
Our existance and purpose need to be charged with an urgency to experience more of Christ and speak more of Him.
Consider the brevity of life on earth in contrast with an eternity in heaven and adjust your life accordingly.
Live your life like there's something bigger than today.
Make a plan for cultivating a stronger walk with Christ:
Open up His word,
Saturate yourself with His presence,
Situate yourself for eternity.
Live like there's more ... and help others.
“If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world. If none of my earthly pleasures satisfy it, that does not prove that the universe is a fraud. Probable earthly pleasures were never meant to satisfy it, but only to arouse it, to suggest the real thing. If that is so, I must take care, on the one hand, never to despise, or to be unthankful for, these earthly blessings, and on the other, never to mistake them for the something else of which they are only a kind of copy, or echo, or mirage. I must keep alive in myself the desire for my true country, which I shall not find till after death; I must never let it get snowed under or turned aside; I must make it main object of life to press on to that country and to help others to do the same.”
C. S. Lewis
For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly await for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
