Heavenly Father,
Let my devotion to You be adequately displayed in the sincere conduct of my ways.
Let earnest zeal for You consume and transform me.
-Where I have been idle of mind, let the discipline of scripture memory and Bible reading be enforced.
-Where I have been idle in time, allow the discipleship and caregiving tasks of others to be purposefully and purely induced.
-Where I have been led astray, let me once again take to my knees.
-Where I once committed sin, let me not return to it.
Let this day yield a harvest of righteousness through the power of Your Spirit at work in me.
Let me be a conduit of grace, comfort, and compassion to one in need.
Let me seek to love You deeper, Lord, and look to You oftener.
For an impartation of wisdom, guidance, and council to rule and govern this day,
I make earnest request.
Grant me my desire, gracious Father.
This day is Yours … I commit it to You.

“Break up your fallow ground, and do not sow among the thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord and take away the foreskins of your hearts.”
Jeremiah 4:4-5
