Yesterday's speedwalk drained me.
A wee bit under the weather, I contemplated stopping short of my regular "five mile" walk but then pushed myself in compliance to the forceful voice of discipline operating within.
I'm glad I did.
While engaged on the second go-around, I came into contact with several rolled-up dollar bills.
Three dollar bills to be exact.
Believing the three dollars was a direct benevolence from God,
I asked Him to show me what might be done with the three dollars in order to multiply them. Curiously and beautifully, He brought a story to mind which I had read only earlier in the day about a gentleman whose faith had grown in a sincere and profound way on account of the purchase of several packages of mustard seed and specific discoveries He had made as a result.
God whispered to me with this story in mind,
"Purchase three packages of mustard seed."
A prompt visit to the hardware store yielded me the exact seed desired and I now have three packages of mustard seed sitting colorfully in front of me instead of three dollars.
Hmmm ...
One package is opened already and some little contents removed for a specific occasion brought to mind  and I'm certain and confident that these seeds are going to take me to some very special places.
One seed at a time God is going to do something extraordinary with them and I will be an active participant on the mustard journey.
Who knows what will come ...
"And the apostles said unto the Lord,
'Increase our faith.'

So the Lord said, 'If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you."
Luke 17:5-6

Three dollar bills, my friend, have already initiated a giant faith in me. What shall the end result be?
For three rolled-up dollar bills and an extra mile, I give God thanks and ask Him to multiply this beautiful seed.
Am I hearing things ... or do you hear the voice of Andrew too?
"One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto Him, 'There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?"
John 6:7-8
Three dollar bills,
three packages of mustard seed,
and maybe a community of five thousand men?
Hmmm ...
