WHO HINDERED YOU?

WHO HINDERED YOU?
By: Darrelyn L. Tutt

"You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is."
Galatians 5:7-10
----
Have you ever been to a track meet? If you have you will notice that there are white lines painted all the way up and down and around the track. The purpose of the lines is to let runners know this is where you are to run. You are to stay in your lane so there is no cutting in. Those lanes are there to guide you and to protect you from others.
---
God is an active spectator in the heavens watching the sons of men run their race.He knows each runner by name and He places each runner in a lane.
He charges each runner to run a strong clean race and He gives each runner everything necessary to arrive at the finish.
He outfits each runner with the nutrients of His word, the strength and stamina of the Spirit, and the fellowship of other runners who are running a clean race.
He watches, He waits, and He sees ...
He observes, with patient forbearance, those who make it their objective to hinder or "cut-in" on those who are running hard. He knows the names of those who steal subtly into a lane not their own and dishearten and trip-up those working hard to complete the race.
He knows the weariness of the one who runs with sweat on the brow and strain in the muscle ... and He gives that special "one" the fortitude and endurance to complete the race in spite of hinderances, obstacles, and "cut-ins."
---
God is not only cheering and guiding ... He's the ultimate head coach of each runner on the field.
He knows His own and His own know Him.
Trust Him to see you through and don't grow faint; He's got His eye on you.
---
God has His way of taking care of the "cut-ins" in our lanes and our lives. Continue to run strong, clean, and hard and allow Him to deal with them in His time and in His way.
He's in control.
Listen to the directive of the coach and keep to the lane He has placed you in.
Look to the finish ...
Run your race.
He'll see you through.
Godspeed to you, runner,
God is faithful!
